Statement on Zero Waste
After living on a recyclable life for more than 18 years, I started to learn about Zero Waste after stumbling upon this project and it has made an impact in my life. I started to live less with plastics in my life and more about using resources more critically about reusing materials that can be reused. The more I think about it, I reused my own personal bottles at home, wore the same clothes that I wore for more than 5 years ago, and have stuff lying around my room, such as papers and books, that had been there for more than at least 2 years. Containers to store all my stuff that had been there ever since I was born as well as a clock that has been ticking for more than 15 years. I started to see the change in my life more than I did back when I was a child where I took everything for granted and use more than I could consume in my life. Therefore, this definitely has have impacted my life and I encourage those that want to be eco-friendly and finding ways to reduce their carbon footings to try zero waste out!
